Help with the Values Card Sort app on iPhone, iPad, and Android, and with the card sort on this website. Questions, problems, and feedback go to hello@myvaluescardsort.com, where a person reads and answers, usually within a few days.

The card sort on this website

• Your progress saves in this browser as you go, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off. Nothing you sort or write is sent anywhere.
• To move a sort to another device or browser, save your sort to a file and open that file on the other device.
• Clearing your browsing data, private browsing, or a browser set to clear on exit will erase a saved sort, so save a file if you want to keep it.
• “Start over” erases the sort in this browser.
• The results screen prints or saves your top five, with what you wrote, as a PDF.

The app

• To see your completed sorts on your other devices, open Settings and turn on Sync with iCloud on iPhone and iPad, or Sync with Google Drive on Android.
• On Android, Settings can also write a backup file wherever you choose, and restore it on a new phone.
• The app lock in Settings keeps your reflections private. It opens with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode on iPhone and iPad, or your fingerprint, face unlock, or screen lock on Android.
• After you save a sort with the adult deck, Remind me in a week sets one reminder to look back at your top five, as long as you allow notifications.
• The results screen exports a PDF you can keep or share.
• To add a value the deck doesn’t include, open More options while you sort and choose Add a value of your own.
• The app is in English and Spanish, and it follows your device’s language, Dark Mode, and accessibility settings. To pick a different language or appearance just for the app, use Language or Appearance in Settings.

Privacy

The app collects no data. Everything you create stays on your device unless you turn on optional sync to your own iCloud or Google Drive account, where Everyday Insight can’t see it. The details are in the app privacy policy. The website has its own privacy policy.
